Everything you need to know about the festival.

Entry into the Venue

Major events will utilise 2 event entry points. The Eastern Entry for car park patrons and the Western Entry for bus and foot patrons.

Whilst we understand the desire to line up early to secure the best vantage point – there are no shelters or facilities available at either entry point. As such queuing is NOT permitted more than 60 minutes prior to the advertised gate opening time.

All bags will be searched on entry. There will be express entry lanes available for those without bags. Please note that alcohol, eskies, picnic baskets, hampers, commercial or packaged store bought food will NOT be permitted. Please ensure you check the full prohibited items list before arrival.

Once inside the venue – pass-outs will NOT be permitted. If you leave the venue you will NOT be admitted back in.

Age Limits and Requirements

Crossroads in the Vines is an all ages licensed event series.

Whilst minors are permitted at All-Ages events – they are NOT permitted in bar areas and MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Due to sound levels and large crowds – Roche Estate discourages parents from bringing small children and infants.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from being taken into the venue:

• Alcohol
• Animals – Except for Authorised Guide / Companion Animals
• Any Liquids – Empty Water Bottles can be refilled inside the designated event area
• Balls, Sporting Equipment, Bicycles, Skateboards etc.
• Chairs over 15cm high
• Commercial or pre-packaged food
• Drones, Professional Cameras or Video Recording Equipment
• Eskies and Picnic Baskets
• Fireworks or Explosives
• Furniture including Folding Chairs, Tents, Gazebos or Inflatable Structures
• Glass, Cans or Metal Containers
• Illegal or Illicit Drugs or Substances of any Kind
• Musical Instruments including Air Horns, Megaphones, Drums etc.
• Studded Clothing and Accessories
• Umbrellas, Poles, Sticks, Banners or Signs etc.
• Weapons of Any Kind
• Any item which is reasonably considered by the Promoter or Venue as being able to cause injury, nuisance or offence to any other person attending the Event.

Food, Beverage and ATMs

As Roche Estate is a fully licensed venue patrons are NOT permitted to bring ANY liquids into the event. Empty plastic water bottles are permitted and may be re-filled free of charge once inside the event.

Roche Estate is also a fully catered venue and a number of high quality food stalls and hospitality packages will be available. Commercial and packaged store bought food will NOT be permitted into the venue.

All stalls and bars accept cash ONLY. ATMs are available within the event site but are prone to significant queues and signal loss with larger crowds. We recommend all patrons come prepared.

Seating and Chairs

General Admission ticket holders are permitted to bring 1 low profile chair NO higher than 15cm off the ground. Chairs higher than 15cm will NOT be permitted.

Whilst it is understood that patrons may choose stand and dance during the event – we ask you please respect those seated around you.


There are 2 designated smoking areas within the venue – these are the ONLY areas smoking is permitted. We ask that you respect the patrons around you.

Lost Property

Lost property can to be reported to Event Security during the event. Post event patrons are to contact Roche Estate on 02 4998 4300.


Roche Estate is a fully licensed venue and by law is required to have a large deployment of Event Security. Event Security is appointed by Roche Estate and the Event Promoter. If you have any issues please direct your questions to Roche Estate.

Accessible Facilities

Accessible parking is available to NSW Accessible Parking Scheme Permit Holders. Whilst accessible parking is located as close to the entry gates as possible – please note that being a an outdoor event all patrons will be required to traverse grass and dirt paths located inside and outside the venue.

Accessible toilets are available within the venue. Viewing area options will be provided for all ticketing types.

Companion Cards are accepted at all Roche Estate events.

Inclement Weather

All patrons are advised the venue is wholly outdoors and Crossroads in the Vines will proceed through inclement weather including wind and rain. Patrons are recommended to come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear for the forecast. Umbrellas are NOT permitted within the venue.

Whilst Roche Estate and the Event Promoter will do everything possible to ensure the event proceeds as planned – safety concerns regarding severe weather may delay, postpone or cancel an event.
